Domestic violence survivors achieve stability with LAWO’s help
Leaving an abuser is just the first of many steps a survivor must take to reclaim stability in their lives. In Montgomery County, LAWO partners with numerous agencies through the Montgomery County Domestic Violence Collaborative to help domestic violence survivors achieve independence and stability. The partner agencies work with LAWO to improve the lives of survivors and their families by using a holistic approach that coordinates essential services and empowers clients in their everyday lives. LAWO addresses multiple safety concerns of clients with legal representation in civil protection order, divorce, custody and other cases. Each survivor has a customized case action plan that gives them the tools they need to live in safety and independently of their abuser.
