Justice Prevails: LAWO Helps Victim of Ponzi Scheme

In August of 2018, Mr. Singh was the target of an investment Ponzi scheme. Through diligent investigation and litigation, LAWO was able to recover all of Mr. Singh’s money and additional damages. The case settled for just under $400,000, an astounding and life-changing amount for a man who had once been homeless, due to this fraudulent company.

We offer a range of opportunities to get involved, including counsel and advice, limited legal assistance, clinic participation, material development, co-counseling, mentoring, research, full case representation, and more. We also offer various events for volunteer attorneys through Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, other trainings, and pro bono celebrations.
